The clear, strong colors, the outlining in white cotton and the complexity of the herald-like field medallions is testament to skill and creativity of its tribal weaver.

The medallions have an imposing sense of presence created in part by the manner in which they are anchored to the border guards at both the top and bottom.

Imaginative visual interpretations emerge from the positive-negative space in and around the medallions.

Three hooked motifs separate the medallions with one of like design placed in the center of each medallion.                               

Border guards with ‘S-shape’ motifs frame the borders and contribute significantly to integrating the entire composition.

The dyes are from all natural sources; their brilliance is exceptional.

Condition:  There is one small reweave in the blue area of one of the medallions; otherwise the condition of the weaving is nearly perfect.
