This field design has a clear and very old tradition in that it is strongly reminiscent of 16th century Anatolian carpets. Extra weft wrapping patterns the plain weave ground. The piece has a substantial yet supple handle. The colors are from all natural dye stuffs and are rich and deeply saturated.

Condition: Very good. There are two small areas of high quality repairs.
