In an imaginative interpretation of the palmette motif, the weaver has serpent-like figures emerging from each of the primary field designs. Notice how each of these 'serpents' appears to be stalking a prey object. Multiple borders, each well drawn, dominate much of the surface of the piece.
Condition:
Excellent. Full pile. Sides have been re-cast and are in good repair.
