Oversized
and visually powerful octagons dominate the field composition.
A version of the kaikalak form in a striking shade
of yellow draws the viewer to the internal details of these
octagons. A pleasing symmetry is created with the use of four
sectioned diamond motifs within and between the octagons.
This design
is rare, perhaps unique, in that there are no known similar
examples in the literature. A highly collectible tribal weaving.
